PhillipsApicella has been discovered in 2020 as a need in the market for good quality, modern & trendy food to cater for the intimate party right through to the big numbers for the wedding of your dreams.

Josh Phillips and Charles Apicella have over 20 years of experience at variable degrees of the catering trade, from working at local gastro pubs right through to rosette standard and even heading up their own kitchens in their 20s. PhillipsApicella has been a work in progress for the last couple of years for Josh and Charlie, throughout working their careers and gaining the correct experience in necessary areas of the catering trade, whilst making memorable connections with some of the best staff Norfolk has to offer which will be a crucial part of the services we provide at PhillipsApicella.

We have a high respect for the environment and do our upmost at PhillipsApicella to make less trips for food deliveries, regularly ask for no plastic for our food deliveries and recycle as and where possible. We have took it one step further in utilising biodegradable packaging for evening/party style events at your request, of course we still have traditional white china for your weddings etc. but for evening food/party style events we would encourage you to use this option to reduce our carbon footprint, trendy cardboard takeaway style boxes right through to plant plastic cups which you cannot tell the difference!

Glass & Tableware:

PhillipsApicella have one of the best, loyal tableware and white china companies in norfolk, they have worked alongside Josh & Charlie in the past multiple times and will continue to do so. From perfect crystal glass, through to biodegradable, environmentally friendly packaging, we can assist with all these services.

Staff

From years of experience we find the key aspect about any hospitality related event is the staff, how many times have you remembered the name of a great waiter or waitress and returned for that extra bit of care and attention that gave you a memorable moment? Or back to a restaurant because the meal was amazing! Our food is only as good as the staff that present it. PhillipsApicella staff have a pedigree background and are all personal friends of Josh and Charlie, they are our most important and looked after asset. They say it’s the most important meal of the day, but often fails to deliver an adequate sense of satisfaction and taste. But no more! For one of the most important days of a couple’s life, the chance for family a friends to share a special day of celebration & love topped off by some incredible food, wine and atmosphere. Josh and Charlie have extensive experience in events, especially weddings. PhillipsApicella understand the severity of the day but deliver expertly in a calm professional manner giving a sense of relaxation on what can be a very stressful day for all. The only issue we had writing these menus is raining in the thousands of ideas we had to make it an all-rounder with big taste and colours for everyone to enjoy. A memorable moment for all involved.

PhillipsApicella also offer a “display” style of dessert whereas a selection of plates can be available , a choice of 3 of the following will be displayed and offered to guests to come and take for themselves ( it’s quite eye catching and definitely draws everyone’s eyes once they sit down for dinner ) we offer a sweet version & cheese version at PhillipsApicella that we believe is not just tasty but a visual stunner too!

Both Josh and Charlie come from big families both with multiple brothers, sisters, cousins etc. and have vivid memories of being at events & weddings with all their families, running around, sliding in socks on the dance floor. Perhaps more vivid the memories of trying certain foods for the first time that confused them and frankly didn’t taste that nice at a young age. We understand children are a big vital part of your memorable moments so here is a fun, healthy option for your children to choose from!

Who doesn’t love a BBQ? We at PhillipsApicella have a love of BBQ, not just the food, but the occasion that brings all family together and adds an heightened sense of togetherness that only a BBQ can orchestrate, so we have an extensive BBQ menu and salads to cater for all maybe you’re thinking about covering the evening guests who couldn’t make lunch, or just fancy having someone else do all the leg work whilst you toast some beers throughout a warm summer evening. PhillipsApicella is a firm believer in local is best. Therefore we have teamed up with a local wine merchant and personal friend of Josh & Charlie.

Due to the locality of the wine and the ever changing supplies/stock we urge clients to get in touch and arrange a suitable time to discuss the drink options with us personally so we can get you the best possible wine to accompany your meals upon our recommendations and input from yourselves.

With an extensive menu scanning the furthest reaches of the world right through to unexplored regions and with an average of 400+ options of red, white, rose and champagne we guarantee to get a delicious wine to accompany your memorable moment.

We are fortunate enough to also have some of the best cocktail geniuses in our armoury at PhillipsApicella, through countless, strenuous nights of drinking and sampling a concoction of cocktails from a variety of spirits (still ongoing for purely professional purposes) we have decided to display options available as perhaps a welcome drink, right through to getting in touch directly to having a custom cocktail menu based on a spirit/flavour profile of your choice!

We are excited about our custom cocktail menu and think it’s a trendy, fun edition to a staff party right through to toasting the bride and groom with an Espresso Martini!
